I am Eugénie, a proud mother, a remedial teacher, and founder of AIDEOR.
I am inviting you to explore my site to get to know me better and understand my passion for the academic progress of the students.

I graduated as a teacher, specializing in remedial-teacher (Orthopedagogue) of physically handicapped in Quebec in 2012. As an Orthopedagogue, my philosophy is to promote life-long education through personal experience by focusing on student centered learning approach to match students need, interest and pace of learning.

Some of my key skills are patient, dynamic, supportive and cares for humanity. Moreover, I am a good listener and observer to provide various interventions and creative activities to solve existing problems.
​
Learning takes place for pleasure, class is done online, educational games or specialized software. Motivation is maintained and recognition of progress is fundamental.
​
To ensure academic success, continuous communication with the stakeholders is essential in designing curriculum which match students need. In addition, learning materials will be supplemented to parents to guide and reassure educational progress.

Lastly, social network such as joining professional organizations, attending seminars, trainings and conventions as well as reading is essential in furthering profession.

AIDEOR manages a private group on Facebook to offer a place of free support between expatriate French-speaking parents. Join us to avoid the feeling of isolation but rather to:
- ask your questions with confidence
- share your needs, your testimonials, your advices, your ideas, your experiences, your research, materials, etc.
- discuss cultures, education systems, ways of doing things, pedagogies, etc.
- help other parents with formalities related to schooling (adjustments, evaluations, registrations, etc.)
- invite other French-speaking parents who live abroad and who have children who are facing academic challenges
- help the community to see all children in an evolving and positive light.
